Founded in Qingdao in 2009, Chuange draws inspiration from the traditional fishing-village cuisine of the Jiaodong Peninsula. The restaurant is best known for its signature fish dumplings, including unique fillings such as cuttlefish and yellow croaker, bringing a distinctive Qingdao twist to traditional Chinese dumplings. Today, Chuange has become one of Qingdao’s best-known local food brands. Its signature dumplings have been featured in the documentary A Bite of China and were also served at the banquet for heads of state during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Qingdao Summit. From fresh seafood to handmade dumplings and classic Qingdao dishes, Chuange is a great place to discover the flavors of the city.
